who am I?

My name is Yann Lorber. I’m 25 years old and grew up near to Strasbourg, France. And currently I am living in The Netherlands.

I am always open to new experiences, I like working and living internationally.
I can speak french, english, german, spanish, catalan and alsatian… and now I have to learn dutch!

what’s my job?

I am a Web Developer for the agency Tremani based in Delft, The Netherlands.
Before, as a freelance, I worked for several agencies, like Fat-Man Collective or Actweb, and clients like Simply-Land or Etikstudio.

I worked both alone and in small teams and I always aim to achieve the best solution for each case or client.

how did I end up being a web engineer?

I was born in Strasbourg, France, in 1985, and I have lived in different places around the world a part from my country, such as Germany, China or Spain, and in the future I do not discard moving in somewhere else!

Keen on computer graphics since an early age, I studied design and technologies applied to computer science and graduated in 2008 as a multimedia/web engineer from IMAC Engineering School in Paris.

what are the best projects I’ve worked on?

I have been working as a Freelance in collaboration with:

  • Multimedia website for the 50 years of the European Court of the Human Rights (for Actweb)
  • CTAE, Aerospace Research and Technology Center (Barcelona);
  • A fun and interactive portfolio for Fat-Man Collective
  • An event calendar for Space-related events, SpaceAgenda.com

I also participated on interesting projects for Nokia and Cadbury (London).
